      On 5/2023 a fraudulent inquiry posted to my credit reports. Someone got ahold of my information and attempted to apply for a *********** credit card. On 6/10/23 Equifax removed the fraudulent inquiry, but on 08/2024 added the fraudulent inquiry back to my credit file. Ive spoken to *********** regarding this matter, who also confirmed the application was flagged and cancelled by their fraud ************* of today, 3 letters mailed and multiple calls to Equifax to resolve issue and its still on my report.

      I submitted two complaints within 30 minutes of each other on 10/30/24. One for Equifax and another for *********** is the reason you may have similar complaint verbiages and same attachment documents.

      I have contacted Equifax SEVERAL times to remove these accounts that are not mine. They are in violation of several credit laws. I have reached out to them regarding the inquiry that I have on my credit report and I have reached out asking them to VALIDATE not verify the accounts reporting on my credit report, specifically *******************. I have paid the *********** account and they agreed to delete the account once paid, but they are refusing to do so! They continue to report it as paid but it negative. Please assist.

      Equifax is asking me to verify my identity by sending information to their P.O. Box which i have done a total of FIVE times & no one has yet been able to identify me or send me any confirmations. I have as to where they have to sign for it for it to be picked up and it says signed by equifax each time. I even reached out to the Atlanta post ************* did an investigation & confirmed it does get picked up. The **** at equifax stated that the mailing team does not have any contact information so they cant even confirm where its at in the process.

The response was disappointingly generic and did not provide any specific information about the methods used to verify these accounts, despite my clear explanation of the need for a comprehensive verification.I expect a detailed response to address the following urgent questions. If you are unable to respond to each question promptly, I demand that the accounts be removed from my credit report permanently.Verification Evidence: Can you provide evidence that supports your claim that these accounts are accurate?Certified Documents: Were certified documents used during the investigation, and if so, what documents were included?Information Shared with Original Creditor: Please specify any information passed on to the original creditor during the verification process.Cost of Documents: I would like to know the cost associated with the documents utilized in the ******************** Details: Kindly provide the name of the individual at the original creditor's office with whom your representative spoke, along with the date, time, and duration of that conversation.Verification Representative: Please share the name of the individual from your company who communicated with the original creditor during this verification.I am once again requesting the permanent removal of these items from my credit report.
