    If I could leave zero stars I would. At this point, I'm not even sure if legal should be involved with the lack of professionalism and failure to meet contractual obligations. The event was for my grandmother's 90th. We agreed to these terms with the event director: - A deposit made for renting the decor pieces in which 20% would be paid back after event - Ties for the head table chairs - She would setup the event for an extra fee. - We would get access to the event space two hours prior for any extra touchups we wanted - Contract and receipt would be sent after the transaction was made Of these items listed, 0 things were granted. The communication after we made payment was so inconsistent that we became concerned that this may have been a scam. The day of the event, she did not answer any of our calls and the only option to get in touch with her was through the Golf Clubhouse. My parents had to beg to get into the space to even setup and we grappled with cancelling since NOTHING WAS SETUP AS PROMISED. We had 1 hour to setup after being told that we would AT LEAST have two hours to get in prior to event. With a party that started at 1pm, she (Megan Jackson) showed up at NOON with hot tablecloths from the dryer/some stained pieces and then started to prep room to get done for a party of 80 people. Most people had to wait in other event space for 45-60 min just so we could setup. Because she wasn't responsive, I along with other family members had to buy things at Party City and Hobby Lobby just to make sure we could make it nice enough in a short period of time. Before the event was even over, we received a text about extra pieces used and an extra charge. Still, no apology for a horrendous experience. When I asked for the contract and receipt, she gave me no response. This seemed shady. I was encouraged to let the bank know of these actions. I also had to change my bank card because I didn't trust her methods moving forward.
