I purchased this product in 2021 - it was a surfboard gateway (Model: SBG10). Near the end of the year (about 9 months later), the gateway had a major malfunction, no longer broadcasted a wifi signal. This is one of the main functions of the modem. In the meantime while it didnt work, I was obligated to purchase an alternative modem. The product is still covered by a limited time manufacturer warranty, however, I was only offered a replacement when I wanted a refund. The place I bought it (Amazon) is an authorized retailer. But they stressed that they could not give me a full or even a partial refund. I found a clause in their warranty policy that stated eligibility for compensation, but they stated it was only applicable in *********, although it does not clearly state that it is only applicable to *********. I would just like to get my $120 back that I payed for a product that didnt even last a year.Business response

Let me start off by saying that online everyone mentions how hard it is to get anything Warranted through you guys, and theyre right it is. I have a $150 modem that doesnt work and I just want it replaced, I dont have time to waste on hold and go through testing to see if my modem will qualify for replacement. The modem doesnt work, the power light just endlessly flashes. Even if you power cycle it or rest it using the small button on the back, nothing works. I want a replacement sb8200 or a refund.Initial Complaint
