            We hired Hilina'i Construction to build us a 76 retaining brick wall. The end resulted in chipped bricks installed, grouting not filled properly, crooked poles, pole height differences, missing pole *********. After we had to try to correct the sloppy work and the end result being different color concrete patches. I would not recommend this company at all. The owner does not take pride in his work at all. Once he gets the money, he doesn't return calls or text messages.

            We did everything that was asked.(I gave the home owner a really good price and free fence materials. )This wall is ****x better then their old wall, the grouth they are explaining has nothing structural to do with the wall. The wall is solid grouted thru out and will keep water out. The wall even gave them more room behind their yard. I went beyond for them. The little chip bricks is how it came from the manufacture. Its not cracked. I did not make any money from this job. I just tried to help out the home owner.

            If we had known that the end result was going to end up looking like this we would have rather paid more money to get it done properly. As we stated in the review there were poles cut at different heights and installed crooked, grouting gaps between the very bottom bricks that we addressed with you to fix but was just covered with dirt to hide it, and missing pole caps. If the bricks are chipped by the manufacture then don't use them, return them. Ignoring phone calls and text messages for an entire week and not addressing the concerns with the home owners does not seem like good business etiquette. If you called us back and worked with us to try to address some of the concerns would have made it a lot better. But zero calls or text messages back addressing our concerns regarding the wall. The only text message that we got back from the owner was that he said he would drop off by the end of the month asphalt paint to recoat our garage in which they messed up. That's about it. We also noticed their was another complaint towards this company that was in the same boat as us. I wish we had seen this complaint before proceeding with this company.
