FULL TRANSPARENCY: The owner called 3 hours prior to the dive. He indicated that he was calling all the divers to let them know that the water conditions were getting choppy. He did offer a refund at the time which I should have accepted. He said that the boat ride would be choppy and the water should be fine. This was the OPPOSITE. The boat ride was calm and the water at the dive site was choppy. I would have 100% NOT done if I knew this and would have accepted this refund offer.The sole purpose of the trip was to take the Refresher course. Was told that I had to pretty much hurry to **************" as others will be waiting for me.Fitted with an ill-fitting mask 2 minutes before going in the water. Got in the water where the waves were tossing me like a rag doll. Yelled at multiple times ************** was impatient. Barked at me the whole time.Turbulent waves. I did not have the strength to get back on the boat by myself. No assistance. Was told "lift yourself up." I told him that I was having a hard time. 4-5 people puking off the boat.In my opinion, this was not a safe day to take people out on a dive.I get that the weather and water conditions are unpredictable, but you can control who you take out and how you treat people. After I told the owner what happen, he just commented that he was sorry that I am really sorry it did not meet your expectations, and that you did not enjoy *****, but I'm not going to be able to refund your money because of that. He also offered a pool session, though I will never go back to ******** again. The funny thing is that I think that the Army Diver felt bad that he yelled at me so HE is the one who told me to contact the owner for a refund. I guess the joke is on me. No refund or partial refund for me.
