I am in the same predicament at the Pearl **** location. I took my machine for a servicing for it sat for a few years before I used it for a project to be started. Woman tells me that don't spend money on repairs, machine old and turn it in for a Bernina . To make long story short, It came back to me unusable. It feed the material in reverse n had to continue back to start in reverse again. What an idiot repairman!!! He heard our conversation re: not repairing n turn in for a Bernina so when i did use the machine, i felt it was a conspiracy n sabotage to prove a point n get a sale. ok-took it back and they righted the wrong and sent me home, this time the machine locked up completely. took it back and they charged me another $200.00 because I didn't have my receipt of proof of warranty. More to it but the conclusion is, When I went back because in wasn't working properly again, they insisted no credit to my credit ******** would have a store credit at their Pearl **** Store. They tried selling me the Bernina again. But had somebody else come and fix my sewing machine n got it working properly. Out of my $209 n want it back. Manager at PC location refuses to budge. Says sign says returns-store credit only?
