I was enjoying my Christmas lights until around 20 December 2023 I discovered that they were not working. When I look closer, it was obvious that the yard maintenance cut them with their weed eater. On or around 20 December 2023, I sent information to the ***************************** with no response. On 28 December 2023, I emailed the **************** for the second time including pictures. ************************* replied to my email stating that senior leadership was going to contact. This company is trying to charge $200 for bulky trash inside of our trash bins due to our move out to another home with their company. We were not given proper time to do so and the trash comes to be taken out on Tuesday which is tomorrow 11/08/2022. Today is 11/07/22.Business response

Per **************** staff, resident had placed propane tanks in the trash bin which are considered hazardous materials because of any gas or residual gas in the tanks. ************** will NOT accept them. Resident removed the propane tanks and disposed of them himself. Charge was not added to his final move out charges. No refund is due resident.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: Island ********************** specifically stated in person and via phone call that the trash inside of the bin was the issue and that was what we were going to be charged for. The hazardous item that was stated in the previous message from them was incorrect. The propane tank not tank(s) that was stated, was from previous tenants who lived in that apartment unit and was mentioned during our move in to be removed. Though the charges have been resolved and very appreciated, I wanted to bring light to this situation so that the next tenant wouldnt have to. The fact that their response was about a propane tank in a trash bin is an absolute disgrace and joke to cover up what they tried to charge us for. I have no further complaints at this time.
