Misrepresentation, false statements to me and they terminated my life insurance policy, claiming federal law of 1982 that I could not pay anymore. They canceled my automatic payment to them, (tried to say nsf, untrue) and after several calls trying to make payment regarding to the letter they mailed, they said they would take my payment out and never did, and the supervisor said I paided to much in, due to federal law of 1982 and once that lowers the bank transfer will go through and my policy will not get canceled. But they canceled my life insurance policy after I been paying since 1990. I called several times, spent hours on calls and several agents said they said they would accept my payment and would withdraw from my bank account for nov 1st, due to federal law. They promised me that my policy would not be canceled. They canceled my policy.They canceled my auto pay They did not accept payment when I informed them to make a bank auto payment. They said they would, on Nov 1st make full payment, because of federal law. But Transamerica only took partial payment and then they mailed me a check back in the amount they withdrew, in the letter they stated insufficient payment and canceled me.After 34 yrs of paying this life insurance policy, Transamerica stop accepting payment near my life's ends. Policy number ******** This is taking advantage of a senior, a customer and my family that would have benefited from the 20k life insurance I paid for 34 yrs, to cancel me by hiding behind a federal law of 1982, not to expect my payments. I have documentation of all the calls I made trying to make payment and they told me it would go through. Instead they can canceled me. This needs investigated, taking advantage of me at 82 yr old, how many others have Transamerica done this to? I want my policy reinstated.
