my original ****** reviews have vanished that I posted in February and April. So Im posting it here. Don't use this company. They destroy your baseboards and dont offer replacements, leave squeaky spots, leave it a mess, and like to ignore the customer who have problems after theyve paid.We picked out our flooring toward the end of November/beginning of December and scheduled the flooring to be installed on December 26th and 27th at 8 am both days. I was at the house on the 26th so we could let them in No one showed up for over 2 hours until I, the customer, had to ask where they were. Communication is not their strong suit. The floors were then placed on December 30th and January 1st. During those two days, **** called me to let me know that my baseboards had been painted two different colors by the previous owners and that I would be seeing that when I came; but there was absolutely nothing said about the pieces of baseboard that matched the original flooring (it went up onto the wall to blend). during my walk-through, I noticed that pieces of baseboard were removed entirely in my bathrooms, kitchen, and entryway. Like completely ripped off the wall, and glue was hanging off. It looks horrid. I brought up our concerns and **** told me I had to buy a particular type of board to do those spots in the house. I was confused as to why he didn't tell me about this, given he told me about the paint, he never offered to replace all baseboards or anything. After we pay for this flooring and work (not cheap), we head home; that is when I found every single one of my baseboards broken somehow, broken completely in half and nailed back to the wall, pieces not nailed back to my wall hanging off, baseboards completely missing from the doorways and of course, the eye-sore of the spots in the kitchen, entryway, and bathrooms.If you have problems, dont pay until he fixes them. Now I have to find money to replace every baseboard in my house due to their quick and sloppy work.

I seldom give poor reviews to small business because I understand the challenges associated with running a small business. But, I think it would be irresponsible of me not to warn others about the poor workmanship, lack of knowledge and complete disrespect of your property when dealing with Cheneys. Not only would the owner never do anything he said he would. Fail to show up, not answer his phone, show up in the middle of the night, use tools, ladders, buckets that he didnt own. Rinse tools off and wash his hands in brand new stainless steel sinks scratching the surfaces. He left mud and grout on finished walls and floor. The ******* ship of his finished product is not only improperly done its ugly and a crooked mess.
