Carbonics designed and helped install the floor heating system in a small 120 sqft master bath remodel. They claim their product is State-of-the-Art technology that creates comfortable and consistent heat. We have several dead spots and inconsistent floor heating with a variance of 20 degrees throughout. They state that it is the most energy-efficient. After 4 months of using the system in the winter we checked our energy **** and it had increased approximately 60% from the previous year. After months of waiting, they finally sent out one of the owners Forest. He is the individual in all the websites install videos. I was hopeful that we would finally get answers and the problems fixed! He spent an hour telling us about his product and how wonderful it is and kept avoiding the obvious issues. He had no answer of the inconsistent heat or dead spots other than he has never had this issue. Apparently, he knows how to install the floors but has no idea how to troubleshoot when there are problems. After an hour of talking in circles Forest finally said his product was not designed to heat floors but rather to heat a space. He went on to say that if we wanted warm even and consistent comfortable heated floors, we should have used another product and not his. He then left and we have not heard back. It is apparent that if you have issues they do not stand behind their product.Based on the owners comments if you want warm consistent even heated floors in your home do not use this product. Based on our experience this is not energy efficient either as they claim.
