We contracted with Crown Roofing to tear off and replace three flat roofs on my townhouse. The contract included tearing off, moving the air conditioning units, reinstalling the air conditioning units, and installing new flashing around the house. After the roofing work was completed, the installers did not want to install flashing, stating that it was not needed, despite the fact that the contract called for new flashing. Ultimately, the flashing was installed around the walls, but not the doors. They were paid in full.A couple weeks later, we were contacted by Crown Roofing becasue they wanted me to pay the cost of moving and reinstalling the air conditioning units...that was already included in the contract. They called and emailed us several times. We finally sent them back the contract that said moving the air conditioning units was included. They stopped asking for money.Lastly, less than six months after installation, we came home from vacation to buckled floors and ceilings and walls that were dripping wet. Crown came back out and acknowledged that the area under the doors (that were not flashed) had not been sealed correctly and allowed the water to come in the home. He patched the area, accepted fault, and stated that they would be back in touch with us to fix the interior damage their workmanship caused.We have emailed and called several times. We have spoken to ***** in the office who mentioned that **** would get back in touch with us. After a month, we have received no response and our house is still in shambles. Crown refuses to contact us to fix the problems they caused.
