I signed up with ** on June 13, 2022 with a 6 month commitment contract. Exactly 1 month later, on July 13, 2022 - I broke my foot resulting in me not being able to spin. I asked the manager multiple times if we could cancel my membership. She kept saying no, that I was part of a contract; and the only two options would be to pay the rest of my contract off (which was around $750) or freeze my account for $15 a month. I chose to freeze the account. They charged me the full amount of $149 in July but said they would refund me because I broke my foot. They never refunded me. In August, I was told that if I wanted the freeze waived, I would need to provide them with a doctors note.. which I sent them immediately after seeing my doctor.. I was still charged $15 that month. In September, I thought I was good to spin again. So, I unfroze my account. I only went to one Saturday class. I wasnt in pain that day & even told the instructor I felt good. But, the next day and every day since, the pain has been horrible. From being in so much pain to my children being sick, I again begged to cancel my membership, after explaining my kids have been so sick for a ********* just cannot seem to find time. I again was told no and the higher-up manager said I could freeze it again. I chose not to because the ** manager gave me H*** the first time I tried freezing it. I then realized I didnt even have my contract. So after multiple emails and calling the studio so many times (to which they never answered), I left a voicemail. The next day, the studio manager emailed me my contract. And of course, the contract clearly states that if I become disabled and am not able to use ** services, that I am indeed able to cancel with no penalty.. I explained multiple times since July that I had a broken foot and couldnt spin! That is someone who is DISABLED. ** has stolen over $300 from me. They cheated and took advantage of me during a vulnerable state. I will NEVER go to a ** again!!

I would like to add that my Physical Therapist also told me Spinning is an absolute NO GO while healing and getting my strength back.
