On October 28, 2021, I hired ******************* [***************************] and Alliance Builders & Construction ****** to repair the front concrete stairs at *****************************************************************************. Oct 29, 2021, as the work was being done it started to rain. The crew used Sakrete Fast Setting Cement Patch, a compound that should not be used in rainy conditions. Additionally, the PLASTIC STRUCTURE that they erected that was to protect the repair from rain collapsed and the repair was exposed to heavy rain. I expressed my CONCERN about the repair to *******************. On Nov. 1, 2021, I made a final payment for a total of $2200, with the UNDERSTANDING and based on *********************** PROMISES that should there be a problem with the repair, the company would fix it. May 4, 2022, I alerted ******************* that the repair was failing and for some five months, he has been telling me that his crew would make the repairs in the next "couple of weeks." August 25, 2022, two workers stopped by and said that they would do the repair the following week but no repairs have been done. Following heavy rains, in the last few months, the cement patch compound has continued to degrade and the repaired steps are crumbling, and are becoming a hazard and need repair. I am a senior and have no ability to physically mitigate the problems, and being on a fixed income, I cannot afford to pay another company to repair the botched job that Alliance Builders & Construction ****** left behind. I am asking that ******************* [***************************] and Alliance Builders & Construction ****** honor their PROMISE and COMMITMENT and fix the failing repair of the concrete stairs at *************************************************, and that they do it before rains and winter freeze set in.I am attaching a detailed Narrative/Complaint and Attachments, including pictures that further explain the problem.
