I have had dental work done at Maple Shade Dental Group at the Dunlap locations since I was a child and needed cleanings and braces so my commitment to them and their services was extensive until recently. In May, before leaving for a short set of military orders, I requested four sets of retainers and paid in full at that time. The cost was almost 900 dollars. I was told that it would take two weeks but when I came back to pick it up, there was only one set and it was poorly made. the retainer made my gums bleed due to contusion from it being stuck to my teeth/gums. I decided to return it and ask for two new sets instead of, what was supposed to be four sets. Months went by and I came back from orders to find that I was not refunded, the retainers weren't done, and they lost my original molds to make the retainers. I called and came in personally and the front desk as well as other staff were rude. The situation was a headache to deal with especially when I was coming on and off of military orders. The conflict was only resolved when they finally gave me a new mold and refunded me after several calls to the office. I felt uncomfortable even coming back to get the mold and to ask for a refund and will confidently advise against getting any service done with the company. The customer service has declined drastically due to a lack of good management and friendly staff.
