Date: 2/24/2023;Payment: $10 insurance copayment + $39 extra scanning procedure fee.I had my eye exam done with this provider last Friday. The exam is covered by my vision insurance with a $10 copayment. I have paid everything I should and expected to get my full prescription. However, after checking on it going back home, I realized my PD measurement is not provided. This is required to get a pair of glasses. The "Add" info is also missing which is critical to get progressive lens. I emailed them immediately and got their reply asking me to either get a pair of glasses from them or paying for $25 more out of pocket to get my PD. This means my eye exam wasn't complete and I can't get glasses still. What's more ridiculous is, their staff measured them during the visit and promised I would get the numbers. Now they are over charging me by going back on their words and holding onto part of my prescription. This is unethical and against the rule.I also talked to my insurance company, UHC vision (via Spectera), to resolve the issue. But they didn't seem to have the power to intervene.
