Their in store personnel have excellent customer service but their phone customer service are rude and does not even introduce themselves. I sent my second to the last payment on july 17 2024 and it was not even due until early august but was returned to sender on early august. I was not sure why because I used their envelope so I went to their store inside our mall I told them about and the lady was very helpful but was not sure why my balance went up to almost 20 dollars. I went back a week later to just pay it all including the ************************************************* store sale person handed me the phone because I think I credit line person could not understand him. She asked me my SOS no. whickni gave and she said " that's not long enought" so I told her louder again. She didn't introduce herself or said sorry that she didn't hear all the no. Most customers would rather go somewhere even if it's a little more pricey but with excellent customer service. I have been a customer of ****************** and ******* since 2014 and generally had positive experiences with their services. However, a recent incident has left me deeply concerned. After making a purchase using my credit card thru them, I discovered that Rogers and ******* had conducted a hard credit inquiry without my authorization. This unauthorized action appeared on my credit report shortly after, which could potentially affect my credit score.Unauthorized credit inquiries can have significant implications for consumers, as they may lower credit scores and remain on credit reports for up to two years. As a long-standing customer, I was surprised and disappointed by this oversight. I have not yet contacted Rogers and ******* about this issue, but I plan to do so to seek an explanation and resolution.In response, I am considering disputing the unauthorized inquiry directly with the credit bureaus to ensure that my credit history remains accurate and to safeguard against any negative impacts. While I hope for a prompt and satisfactory resolution from Rogers and *******, I am prepared to seek legal advice if necessary to protect my consumer rights and financial well-being.This experience has caused me to question the integrity of Rogers and *******' business practices and their commitment to customer privacy. Moving forward, I expect transparency and respect for consumer rights. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! The mistake made by the jeweler coupled with absolutely atrocious customer service RUINED our 25th anniversary. We came into the *************************** location in ******, ** looking to re-create the wedding band and engagement ring I lost after 24 years of marriage. My husband and I agreed that for our 25th anniversary we would buy a new band and engagement ring to re-create the lost set. A smooth talking store manager *********************** sold the set to us. It needed to be customized (a smaller diamond put on the gold band and a channel set wedding band needed to be re-sized). We were charged $75 for the work and over $1,000 overall for the set. On the day of our 25th anniversary (!) my husband who picked up the rings while I was traveling opened the box to put the rings on my finger. Our son was prepared to make a photo. Surprise! It turned out that the jeweler had made a mistake, and instead of making two rings, they set the engagement diamond we paid for on the channel set we wedding band, making it one ring. It looked very odd and gaudy. The gold band we paid for was missing altogether. Instead of celebrating our anniversary we rushed to the store. The staff could do nothing other than a few half-hearted sorrys. They blamed the jeweler for the mistake and said to come back in 2 days to get the re-made set. Thats it?? The manager ******** was willing to offer was a $100 discount. Really? For making our Silver Anniversary memorable for all the wrong reasons? She called the vice president who allegedly confirmed that $100 discount was all they were willing to offer. We returned the abomination they made for a full refund and left. We wasted time, ended up with no rings and a horrible experience instead of celebrating. Clearly there is ZERO quality control or accountability in this company.Rogers & Hollands Jewelers Response

Worst customer service and apparently product. Bought 2 movado watches over $1700.00 last month while in *******, one is a white ceramic, never worn yet as its for summer, it doesnt work. I live in *******, no R&H near me.(sales lady assured me someone here would be able to help or could mail watch back but no help when called CS) **************** no help other than pay an authorized dealer to fix it. Also tried to set up automatic payments online but says my cc number is invalid had 2 customer service people give me 2 different numbers (first person was rude with me just asking for help since havent received cc number yet before the bill was due, let it roll off my shoulders but 2 weeks later I got an even more rude person dang!) anyway neither cc number works-still havent received anything in the mail yet with number. Whats weird is I was able to register first time around and now trying to get back in and even reset everything and nothing works but cant get ANY help just trying to pay a bill. So wish I would have gone to any other jeweler. I honestly dont think Ive ever experienced such ridiculous trouble trying to pay a bill in all my life or have an ****** product not work from the get go. Oh and rude CS made it clear I would have to pay to call and make payments even though I cant set it up online for whatever reason and they wont help me figure it out. WTH! Honestly what an unnecessary cluster, save yourself the risk of the headache and stress and go somewhere else, its not like they are less expensive than any other place so why risk the pain in the **** and stress! This company has one of the worst in house credit departments in the country. They will damage your credit with hard inquiries even if you do not give them permission to run/re-run your credit. If you call their customer service department to discuss your complaints you will be directed to associates like ***** at ext #**** who will gladly let you know that she does not care and that they can do anything they please. My Grandson purchased a citizen watch from Rogers and Hollands Jewelry store at ******** Mall *********. He also purchased the warranty. Within a few months the clasp on the watchband broke. So on June 24th 2023 I took it in for him to be repaired. They told us it would probably be about 1 month. 3 months later I called the store and there had been communication problems with the home office. They told me they would contact the home office and get it taken care of. After about 20 calls I went to store. And requested home office phone #. The customer service claimed it was the stores fault, it became a blame game. When I requested to talk to managers and return phone calls to find out what was going on. No one called back. My grandson received 1 call. They lied and lied!!!! The customer service was worthless! They told my grandson it would be 2 weeks and he would have his watch. 1 month later I call the main office customer service and they said the watch was at the store , she would email them. I ask for compensation for the 7 months and 30 phone calls. No compensation!!! No apologies! Extremely poor company, I would advise anyone to stay away. I was searching for an engagement ring. Being young, I was a bit stressed about choosing the right one. ***** of the Mayfair location helped guide me into the style and type my girlfriend wanted. He was very kind and funny. He even reached out to me and let me know of some sales that were happening. When I came to check them out, he presented a ring with a very dirty diamond on it. I asked if he had any others and he brought out one that was more expensive and out of my price range. I was apprehensive. He proceeded to attempt to convince me that more expensive is always better asked me to consider a custom ring he designed based on my preferences. It seemed decent (at the time) and after a bit of hesitation, I accepted an agreement that had a 30 day cancel policy so I had option to look around at other jewelers and make the best decision for me and my goals. (He asked me to remember your boy as I was looking around)After doing some research I concluded that I didnt want to go through with the purchase and I texted ***** to cancel. He then surprisingly accused me of slapping him in the face, being extremely disrespectful and further said that I had went against the wishes of my future wife by disregarded everything she had liked. He concluded that the whole thing was a complete waste of his time, that I ignored everything he had said to me, and urged me to never reach out in any capacity ever again. Now *** worked in sales and I know its hard to handle rejection, but that was completely uncalled for. He was nice at first but showed his true colors after he realized he wouldnt make a commission. If not for his childish reaction I would have gladly recommended him to others. Unfortunately for him that will not be happening. In the end I found a better jeweler who didnt try to guilt me, pressure me, sell me dirty jewelry, and actually cared about more than the money they wouldve profited.Rogers & Hollands Jewelers Response

My husband bought an anniversary gift and never received it. Never buy anything from this company the sales representative kept lying about he will get in tomorrow and tomorrow's and tomorrow . A bunch of ***** and our Anniversary is Sunday. My husband went off on them as he should the Crazy part is, the representative never gave any empathy or sympathy . SO UNPROFESSIONAL-LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER! I have a blue topaz engagement ring that is surrounded by chocolate and white diamonds. We wanted a band to match as close as possible. We picked out a diamond band and asked if we could have every other stone replaced with blue topaz. Absolutely, we were told. The ring was perfect and we were so happy when we left. 1 year later, one of the blue topaz fell out. We we have insurance, so no problem we were told , you should get it back within 2 weeks. I got a call 2 days later and they told me that my ring would have to be sent out, I should have it back within the month. Ok- I get it. 9 weeks later I get a call that my ring is in. Pick it up, all is good. 1 week goes by and a stone falls out. Back to the store, which by the way is a 1/2 hour drive there and 1/2 hour back. This time the woman tells me that the topaz are not hard stones and that once the ring is worked on the other stones can be compromised. Lots of discussion as to why we weren't told this to begin with, because we wouldn't have customized the ring. They apologize and suggest I have the blue topaz replaced with diamonds. Two weeks later I get a call that my ring is ready, I pick it up and as soon as I walk out of the store and into normal lighting, I can see that the one of the diamonds doesn't look right. I go back in the store and this time they said well the jeweler is here, he just needs to tweak it a bit. Can you come back in 1 hour. I come back 1 hour later & now I'm told the girl I spoke to went into labor and left, and the jeweler didn't know what I wanted done. After ******************************************************************************* to talk with the jeweler. He said oh- I have to order a new diamond, come back on Monday and it will be done. I come back on Monday and the ring is not done. I am told the diamonds just came in and can I come back in 2 hours and it will be complete. I absolutely will NEVER buy another thing from ****************** My husband bought me a ring and I took it in to have it sized down and to have a crack in the side of it fixed. When they inspected my ring they informed me that the prongs needed retipped. I unfortunately still after 2 months have not gotten my ring back in the condition it should be in. I have made 5 different trips in to try and get my ring and they still don't have it fixed to my satisfaction. I call the corporate office every day for the last 2 weeks and still haven't gotten any response or resolution.Rogers & Hollands Jewelers Response
