She is a puppy mill and there is a reason she doesn't allow you to visit the puppies prior to purchasing.We purchased a puppy from Sunset Maple Poodles in May of 2022. We were told the poodle was healthy and had been thoroughly checked for generic issues. None of this was true. We have spent thousands on health issues. Our poodle drips urine all the time. After traveling to **** ************************* for an ultrasound and cystocopy they found under developed kidneys, no prostate, and his bladder is not properly formed not allowing him to keep from dripping urine. He has been in a diaper since June of 2022. There is a $4,000 surgery that *** help. In requesting assistance for the vet bills we were to told to have him put to sleep and she would replace him. We paid a forture for him and traveled from ********** to ******* to pick him up. We were duped into thinking he was healthy. We are seniors on a fixed income and wanted a pet. We were duped.

***** (puppy) left us with a statement that he was in excellent health from our veterinarian *************************, *********************** in ******* ** when he was 8 weeks old. He is a dark red standard poodle. He left with a health guarantee, a copy of which is provided. Subsequently Owner suspected he had an ectopic ureter and if so this was a birth defect not covered by her pert health insurance. We would prefer to have our vet treat any health issues with our puppies and as per our written health guarantee owner was offered a replacement puppy from our next litter. Owner declined. Sunset Maple Poodles offered to pay for the testing required to determine if puppy had an ectopic ureter and up to the price of the puppy for his medical care if in deed he had an ectopic ureter. We paid 2 veterinarian specialists, chosen by the owner and her vet, to determine if there was an ectopic ureter. (Owner thought the puppy had ectopic ureters and would require a $10,000 surgery to correct and her pet insurance would not cover this because it was a birth defect.) The puppy did not have this condition. We suggested if the puppy was suffering it should be euthanized and we would replace the puppy. Owner declined. Owner wants to keep the puppy and also wants a full refund of the purchase price. Sunset Maple Poodles has declined this request. Documentation can be provided upon request.
