Yesterday night around 7:50 PM, I was driving to work south on ******************, passed the Village Green golf course, and a golf ball flew from the golf course and hit and dented my car. I have tried to contact the golf course and they have refused to call me back. I had my father call and it went straight to voicemail. I had my fianc called and they answered and told him that they didnt call me back because I left a bunch of angry messages on their machine and told him that they were not liable and that it was the equivalent of a rock hitting my car. They also claimed that they have a tree line that protects the road but it does not. There are a few trees but not nearly enough to protect the road. My fianc hung up on them after getting frustrated and someone called him back on a private number harassing him with profanity and threatening him. The way this was dealt with was so unprofessional and they clearly do not care that is damaged my car or couldve potentially killed someone at the speed it was going. I have filed a police report and a complaint with the village of ********* and Im hoping that they will put a net up to protect oncoming traffic and the residential area thats across the street from them. I drive that road to work all the time and I see pedestrians walk on the sidewalk next to it all the time and I cant stop thinking about how hurt someone couldve gotten and the business simply does not care.
