Back in August of 2023 advantage sold me a 2006 Chevy HHR I signed a contract and everything well the problem arised with it had a very severe rusted rear frame that got checked out by my mechanic I brought up the problem to Advantage and then they have their mechanic tell me the same thing that it was dangerous unsafe and it should have never left a lot and to take it back to the dealership I took it back there I wanted to dissolve the contract on grounds of I do not trust them they potentially could kill me and my children and they did not give me in good faith the option of dissolving the contract they forced me to either make ghost payments cuz they would take me to court or get a different vehicle so give him those two options I just took the vehicle but the second car a 2012 Dodge avenger was just as unsafe as the HHR and it just died on me and did start back up so they repoed it now they're threatening to which garnish which assignments and to take me to court what I wanted out of all of this from the get-go and I was very verbal with my demands of I just wanted the contact dissolved on grounds of bad business practices, deception and for my safety and my children's safety being at risk once they sell the car at the auction I want them to dissolve me of any more of my debts.Business response

MANGER WAS TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL AND VERY UN PROFESSIONAL ON THE PHONE NOT KEEPING HER WORD TO FIX A CAR AFTER BEING TOLD SHE WOULD. BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR SINCE HE DROVE IT OFF THE LOT ALSO THREATS WAS MADE TO THE CUSTOMER FROM THE MANAGER OF THE OFFICE. ALSO THERE DOING SO MUCH ILLEGAL STUFF OUT OF THAT OFFICE. ALSO, THERE REPORTING THAT THERE IS MISSING PAYMENT ON MY CREDIT REPORT BUT IF THAT WAS TRUE THEN WHY DOSE THE CUSTOMER STILL HAVE SUCH CAR THATS BEING REPORTED I DONT UNDERSTAND SO THAT AS WELL NEEDS TO BE FIXED WHEN HE GOT THE CAR, THEY LET A UNLICENED DRIVER DRIVE OFF WITH THE CAR OFF THE LOT IN HES OWN NAME THEY KNOW IT WAS FOR HIM.Initial Complaint

I was late on my payment according to them by a week .they use electric shut off on my car. Well I made my payment and they said they turned my car back on but when I went to turn the car back on it still would not start I called them back one again and it still would not start they told me I had to pay for a tow truck and take it to there mechanic to have it fixed this problem has made me miss work two days in a row I still have not got the car too the mechanic I feel this is there fault and they should have to be responsible for the expense to tow and fix. I have other family who are buying a car from them who are having problems with there car also. The car was already in the shop for muffler problems I jus got it in March they are charging me 13,000 for a 2011 Hyundai accent I feel they should at least take care of the problems they caused
