When I called on 11/16/21 at 8:37 am, I inquired about my dog needing her Rabies vaccination as I had received a card in the mail. I have used this same vet, Noahs Animal Hospital, for 13+ years with this same dog. The employee who answered the phone confirmed all my dog needed at this time was Rabies. I asked when I could get her in for this and she told me they had a walk-in clinic on Mondays that started at 8:00 am. I told her Id be there Monday and would take time off work then to bring ****** in. Today I go to her appointment and the tech, ****** told me she was new and she thought my dog would also have to have an exam done to get the Rabies shot. I explained that I called last week and the girl then had said we only had to get the rabies shot as ****** was already seen in their office earlier this year. I asked to speak to the practice manager as I felt like this whole experience today was a bait and switch for an additional $79 for the exam charge from me instead of just the $25 for the rabies shot. Total I had to pay $104. The practice manager, *************************** was very rude and unprofessional to me when I started asking questions about this additional and ridiculous $79 charge. I explained that I wouldnt have taken time off work and driven from ****** if I had known my dog had to be seen by a different vet in their office. The initial girl I spoke with over the phone on 11/16/21 knew why I as coming today for the appointment and SHE NEVER said Let me check to make sure the correct vet that needs to see ****** is working Monday. I explained that Ive been a customer there for over 13 years and I didnt feel this charge was fair at all and she yelled at me and then hung up on me. I had not used any profanity but did feel that as a customer I can question a charge when I feel its not been correctly disclosed to me. How am I supposed to know it had to be the same vet? This is not a common known thing as Ive had dogs for 20 years.
