      I had Earls install a new furnace two years ago. The cost was over $10,000 for a Trane furnace and a/c. My basement flooded during the heavy flooding in September and now my furnace is completely ruined. Huge waste of money. Do NOT buy new furnace models that rely on electrical boards to operate, especially if there is a possibility for flooding. My other furnace repair person cant get parts, either. So, now I own an expensive box. The parts woman from Earls called today and told me in a ***** voice it would be cheaper to just buy a new furnace. Wow, really? What a complete ripoff!

      To Whom it may concern,

      On November 1st 2023 ************** went to the home of current customer *****************************. Technician found that the basement had flooded with 30 of water covering all electronic components of the furnace and water heater. Current furnace is 34 in height. Our trained and certified service technician informed ************************ that Trane manufacturer warranty does not cover flood damage. Per recommendations for ******************************************* (GAMA) we recommend replacing the furnace and water heater due to flood damage, it would be unsafe to attempt to repair. ************************ insisted on a repair quote.. repair quote was provided but not advised. Parts are available through to order through a local supplier and will all be in stock from the factory January 2024.

      We stand by our recommendation to replace the furnace and water heater at **************************** home per GAMA.
      ************************ can always file a claim through her home owners insurance for the flood damage.

      The issues ************************ is referring to has absolutely nothing to do with the work performed at her home by Earls Heating & Air Conditioning. The damage to her system is because of a flood. I believe we should not be held responsible for **************************** issues at her home.

      We had been a previous customer and had them come out to do a check up on our geothermal AC. Replaced a part and said everything was good to go. Then when it actually got hot, our AC stopped working and they REFUSED to come out even though its 90 outside and 80+ in our house. Said they're booked for 3 weeks, did not offer any after hours call or anything to squeeze us in for an emergency call. Told them they lost our business since we could not count on them when we actually need them. What kind of crooked careless AC company doesnt come out to fix broken AC that they worked on, and said was fine, WHEN ITS 90 DEGREES OUT? These guys are supposed to be a ****************** What a joke

      *******, we are very sorry that we did not get out to your home the day you reached out for a callback. Unfortunately, the fact that we had just came out for maintenance last month was an oversight on our part with a new employee in training. I have attempted to initiate contact and would like the opportunity to try and earn back your trust. As a company that has been in business for nearly 50 years, integrity is the sole basis of our mission. We hope that you will accept the invitation to speak with us directly in hopes of coming to a resolution.

      This has been our experience with this company long story short. We purchased a furnace, humidifier, and AC from ****** about two years ago. Unfortunately, we have had nothing but problems since that point. -We were misled into purchasing a more expensive humidifier than we realized. The monthly operating cost was astronomical so we do not even use it anymore even though we paid about $1,400 for it. Since it was installed, we have had a tech person out at least twice to repair it. -Our furnace has had issues since we purchased it. We have had a tech person out to examine it since then and it's only two years old. -Our AC has had numerous issues and we have had a tech person out at least twice to fix it. Currently, it is still not operating correctly and we will have to have a tech person out again in the spring to look at it. -We were told at one point that the manager would be coming out with the tech person to address some of these issues. It was confirmed by both my wife and I. My wife actually left work early to be home to meet with him. The manager never showed up and the tech person was unaware he was even supposed to be present. -When trying to reach the salesperson with some questions after we purchased the units, I left three messages over a week period with the secretary. No one bothered to return my calls. I had to email them and I am assuming a manager saw the email and then I finally received a phone call. -This month we were waiting for them to call and schedule a follow-up appointment to work on our furnace. No one called us so I called them. They told me I had the wrong company and that they had no record of being out at our house recently, even though they worked on our furnace and gave us quotes the prior week. This is only our experience with this company. We thought we did our homework ahead of time reading reviews and getting quotes from multiple companies. Unfortunately, they have our money and now we are stuck working with this company for several years going forward. Make sure you do your research ahead of time when making a major purchase.
