I had been a customer of slusser automotive several times and never had any issues. But my last experience, definitely couldn't of went any worse. I took my car to slusser automotive the beginning of Jan 2024. I had a misfire and asked for the coils to be replaced. After a few days they call and tell me it's the timing and it will cost thousands to repair. Not having any bad experience there before I trusted them agreed to the repairs. Two months go by and every time I call for an update, I'm only given excuses and the run around. I ended up having my car towed to another shop for the work, but not before having to pay slusser over 800.00 for a random fuel injector and battery, repairs I was never made aware of. 3 days later I get a call from the shop I had it moved too and find out it was never the timing, I just needed new coils and wires and the car was done and ready to be picked up. They also inform me slusser had tried to rewire the coils and it was a complete mess/unsafe, they had to redue all the wiring and harnesses costing me an additional 400.00+ I'm also informed a new battery slusser had purchased without informing me was no where to be found and they had to buy another one, costing me another 300.00. Lastly they for some reason took off my exhaust and didn't even bother putting it back on completely, costing me even more money. Slusser automotive was absolutely no help and refused make things right. They held on to my car for 2+ months, misdiagnosed the issue, tried to charge my thousands for repairs I didn't need, done terrible work, kept the battery they charged me for, gave me endless excuses with zero communication and cost me a lot of extra money fixing what they did to my car. If you value your time, money or vehicle stay away from this place.
