Clinton W****** and Katherine R***** are horrible. They have been soliciting their 'business' to Norwood residents to get hardscaping done. He says he has a business but yet he is not even registered in either Kentucky, Ohio or Indiana for the name he provided me. He took my 50% deposit and cashed it in June 2022, sent many texts to them asking when they were going to start and it was always a different excuse why they couldn't show up. Finally in August they dropped off two loads of free rock in front of my house at night. He put a large pile on my curb where the garbage goes and the next morning, the rocks were stolen. He was smart of enough to hide his tools from public site but put my rocks on the curb where garbage goes and of course the public thought they were free to take. Katherine asked if I would file an insurance claim to pay for the rocks. I told her I was not going to file anything on free rocks that they didn't secure. To place a value on these free rocks and to try and get insurance money out of it is fraud. Apparently my deposit of over $2500 paid for their expensive gas and labor as well as renting their friend's truck since they had no reliable transportation to begin with. They spent all my deposit money on them and not on material needed for my job. It was a struggle to get them to start work and when they did they showed up early evenings and would work about 3 hours until it was dark out. Katherine would beg and cry that she needed cash to get her cigarettes and feed her kids. Paying draws was never discussed or in writing. The truck they rented from their buddy got into a wreck so they were stuck renting an actual ****** and kept blaming me for the need to rent even though they never had their own transportation to begin with. Overall a complete nightmare, like I had to hold their hands and force them to actually finish a job they started while she is kicking and screaming like a toddler. Unfortunately, they're scamming others.
