    Part 1 of 4 **** ****** To Whom It May Concerned – I recently purchased a 2024 GMC Terrain in October 2023. By December 29, of the same year the camera, radio, and the charging ports all stopped working. Therefore, I called on December 29 and was told the first available service appointment was 1/15/24. My sales rep at the dealership is named ****. On 1/15, I took vehicle to the shop and after several text messages going back and forth, I was notified on 1/29, that it had rained in my vehicle for one week straight. It rained through the dashboard, which allowed water to flow to the floors in the front and back of the vehicle. I notified salesperson I would be there by 4 pm that day to look at my vehicle. Upon arriving at the dealership, I was questioned by the salesperson if I had a new windshield installed and I responded no. This is a brand new 2024 vehicle that I had only owned since October 2023 and started having problems with electrical components in December 2023 that has been in the shop since 1/15. Upon inspecting my vehicle, the floors of the vehicle were still saturated with water both front and back. The rain had stopped on the prior Saturday, and I saw the interior of my car on the following Monday and the floors were still saturated with water. On 1/31, I was notified by the sales rep that the leak was found. The windshield had not been properly attached to the dashboard. This was not a previously owned vehicle that I had purchased. This was 2024 that was purchased before calendar year 2024 had started and having problems bore calendar year 2024 had started. This made since why the console stopped working. Water is getting in my vehicle through the windshield. The water was shorting out the electrical components in the dashboard. As everyone knows, the console is attached to dashboard and my dashboard is where all my electrical components are located. As of today 3/7/24, the vehicle is still in the shop.

    I contacted the customer told her what i will do to resolve the problem She agreed she told salesman she had to go do something with her mom.I came back to speak to her to tell her i was getting everything handled she got loud with me when i was only trying to help she said that we will be hearing from her lawyer. I did exactly what i told her i will do and she took her frustration out on me. So like i said i had everything done to put her in a brand new car but she she said lawyer so its out my hand.
