Brought my car in April because check engine light came on warning was service traction control. I was told my car needed close to $1k worth of maintenance (belts, hoses, spark plugs etc) and none covered by the warranty. Light came on again mid May but went off again and told not to worry about. June 26 same light same message about service traction but then my ac kicks off because engine is too hot. Have it towed in to Billy Navarre the next day and 2 head gaskets are blown. Because their labor cost are more than my warranty will pay I’m another $1k out of pocket and warranty pays $1200. Finally get my car back August 3. Brought it back August 15 because the service traction light was on again. Told it was fine just an error since it was recently worked on. Drove it until August 22 service traction light came on again but then as I pull into my carport the ac kicks off and another notice my car overheated. Turned it off, called warranty service to tow it in. Between August 3-22 I drove 346 miles and a head gasket is blown again. My warranty won’t pay because they say Billy Navarre warranty supersedes theirs and that the gasket failed. Billy Navarre says gaskets don’t fail. All I know right now is I’m holding a useless warranty for labor and parts from Billy Navarre (neither parts or labor lasted one month much less 12). They want another $2k just to fix the gasket again so they can find the “real issue”. My problem is that this should have been done several thousand dollars ago and I’m not paying for another guess with a warranty for parts and labor you don’t honor anyway.
