In late December 2022 I had requisitioned the staff of A1 steel to fabricate 6, 11" X 1/2" X 2 X 1/4" X 3/4" structural steel brackets with 3, 1/2" holes down the center, as outrigger spacers for an exquisite 6X10 PJ solar powered enclosed utility trailer. ***** at the company took the measurements upon my instruction yet relayed info upon his own measurements, Being jovial, I said that it be alright if ETA was after the upcoming Holiday, nevertheless; upon my arrival, the units in question were lost, so the staff agreed to fabricate new pieces as I patiently waited. The first piece had 2 of the lower holes off ******, while the top part was 3mm narrower than the lower portion. When I pointed this out ***** became agitated stating and I quote "We aren't a machine shop" and told me go take a seat and let his staff fab the brackets without my oversight. So, I waited some more. Upon completion, NONE OF THE FINAL BRACKETS matched (to the point that my 1/2" bolts did not line up at all with some being 2-3 MM below where they should be) the holes on the template that was initially measured and relayed to the somewhat disenchanted gentleman in the office upon the order date. I pointed out my grievance in a cordial manner to which ***** replied "Pick your poison" insinuating that I take shoddy workmanship or take a refund (which he assumed since as yet these were on a post pay agreement) motioning to close the door and just prior to this transpiring, I audibly proclaimed "you are all idiots" being the depth of my critique. He retaliated "what did you call me??" and yelled some obscenities. And shut the door. So I took a piece in question and venture along with my template to the office seeking the proprietor, to state my grievance where another seeming gentleman began spewing very colorful language and told me to "Get out" displaying his true colors. He also wanted me to take the bracket(s) I did not pay for yet which I left on the counter instead and obliged.***
