I have a navien tankless water heater that was leaking water out the bottom. Fagundes sent out a tech to diagnose the problem. The tech said he would be back in 2 days first thing to fix and no one showed. Had to call them and they sent out another tech to fix said issue and tank still leaking after. Tech says oh no, you have a much bigger problem, dont worry you wont be charged for today but we need a deposit of $400 to fix new problem which is going to cost you $1800 because your flues are not up to code and will need replacing. Tech comes back 2 days later to fix bigger problem and when hes done states wow, that was a lot of steps to fix and the first one Ive done! Then, when settling bill, the $400 deposit was not deducted from the bill. When I questioned him, he said it was for the previous day which he told me I would not be charged. They, after all made a mistake in diagnosing the issue. His boss was supposed to call me and never did. Now, 2 weeks later, my system keeps shutting off on its own, at least 5 times. They also decided they werent going to change out the not up to code flues. Tech said they didnt have to because they were only changing the heat exchanger not the whole system. Sounds like a safety issue to me. I never got any receipts and had to call for those as well. I will not use them again. The techs dont seem very experienced and the boss is not very transparent about prices and doesnt address unsatisfied customers.
