I have tried and tried to give this place a chance since i live close by. It may have been two and a possible times that I've had a good experience from them being last year. After that it's either I receive crabs that are smelly, mushy, or all of thee above. This time I go in for a dozen large and the moment I got home, picked up a crab and felt the weight I knew they played me. How are they even still open at this point?This is beyond unacceptable. I'll be at *********** or******** tomorrow where the customers are sold crabs that actually meet FDA requirements. This ish here should not have made it off the boat.

Update 1: I went back to the store with my crabs and was told they could only give me live crabs since my order was paid using EBT. I was also told that these crabs don't look bad there just light. I'm pretty sure that's super exaggerated because nothing about these crabs look edible or safe to consume and the weight of them is damn near comparableto a sheet of paper. Also, why would I want more crabs from a place that deemed this batch as passable for sale? If this business is thriving selling this quality of crabs my $55 shouldn't hurt you. I will continue to reach out and update this review until we meet a fairly appropriate resolution. Judging from the previous comments this is typical behavior towards customers paying with EBT. Would love to speak to some of those previous customers as well.

Update 2: Contacted by the owner Greg who also refused to come to a fair resolution. His excuse was FDA policy. FDA wouldn't pass the crabs he selling so that has no bearing on the quality of crabs he sells and pockets from. Sounds like he is using EBT customers to increase revenue and the policy to protect himself. At the end of the day the customer takes the loss and it's not a fair trade. These people know exactly what they are doing and I'm going to dig deeper. It's not even so much about the money it's the principle.
