On April 12, ****** emailed confirmation of my April 19 dishwasher delivery and installation date. We prepared the delivery location in full accordance with all ******'s instructions and recorded a video of the delivery site before the installer arrived. At Your Service called April 12 to change the installation date to April 21; but said that the dishwasher would be delivered April 19. At Your Service told me that all discussion regarding the installation had to wait until the installer was at the job. The dishwasher was not delivered April 19. At Your Service told me that the dishwasher had not yet arrived at the ******************************* center (***). ****** confirmed that the dishwasher had been waiting at the *** since April 16. At Your Service contacted me again and told me that the appliance was not yet at the ***. At Your Service delivered and installed the dishwasher April 21. I made absolutely clear to the installer that the wooden floors needed to be protected from damage. I offered smooth heavy cardboard to protect the floors during the installation. The installer insisted that his protective mats would ensure that he will not damage to the floors. The kitchen floor was original heart pine in excellent condition with a 5-coat oil-based polyurethane finish and it had no dents before the delivery. The installer's protective mats hid over a hundred dents that the installer made in the floor while installing the dishwasher. In some locations, the loaded hand truck pressed the dimpled texture of the mat into the floor, leaving conspicuous trails of the dimple pattern. In other locations the plastic feet of the dishwasher dented impressions into the floor through the installer's mat as the installer tilted the dishwasher up on two feet. The installer also slid the dishwasher across the floor by pulling on the mat, scratching into the surface of finish. The protective mats hid the damage from the customer until the installer was done.
