The BBB Code of Advertising states that, “Objective claims relate to tangible qualities and performance values of a product or service which can be measured against accepted standards or tests. As statements of fact, such claims can be proved or disproved and the advertiser should possess substantiation.”
Additionally, the business website claims to be BBB Accredited with an A+ rating, which is not true. BBB's Code of Advertising specifically states, "The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any claims or offers made before publication or broadcast and, upon request, present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or the Better Business Bureau.”
After several attempts to contact the business BBB staff spoke with the owner, Kevin King, on September 29, 2022. He stated he was closing the business and taking the website down. To date both the business and website remain active, and the business has failed to make the requested modifications, or provide substantiation for the claims.
