On January 6, 2022, a representative from All About Doors came to our home to see why our garage door wouldn't shut. When I made the appointment, their representative told me it would be $95 for them to come out. Since I was a previous customer there and they had worked on my door twice before, I asked several questions as to whether I should schedule a visit for a new door or a repair. The representative said that since they had just replaced the inner workings of my door, a repair would be the best route. I agreed to the $95 charge. When the repairman came, he cleared a cobweb from the sensor that took him a minute and said since he was here, he greased the door as well which took him about 3 minutes. He gave me a bill for $152.50. I said, no I was quoted $95. He said that is just to show up at my door. They add another 1/2 hour on at a minimum. I called the company while he was here to talk to a manager, but none was available. I left a message for one to call me back. I paid the bill, but told the repairman that I would be expecting a refund of $57.50. Nobody called me back. I called again, but the manager was not available. The representative said that he was reviewing the recorded calls and would call me back after he listened to it. Nobody called me back, I called a 3rd time. No call back. I called a 4th time (all of these were different days). This time, I spoke with the owner, Bruce. He said he was going to pull my ticket and call me right back. He never did. I am tired of calling them. I want my refund. I was never told they would add a 1/2 hour to my bill. The recorded call should prove that. It's probably why they won't call back.
