      Lies! the absolute worst customer service and Management. Ariaelle K*****, the Director took 4 days to call me after a major problem that I had with her employees. 4 days later when she called she was very condescending and not apologetic to my concerns. It started with the driver that I have made several complaints about parking a 12,000 lb truck in my freshly paved drive, leaving my gate open once the service is preformed, in addition to not making timely deliveries. I ran out of gas on Tuesday Dec.19th, which should never happen, because I have a gauge that lets them know when my propane is low. The driver came on Dec. the 14th and did not complete the delivery because he stated that he drove a truck that the hose was not long enough, unless he was able to park in the drive way. Instead of coming later that day or the next with a truck that can accommodate the length, he never came back at all. Needless to say we ran completely out of gas 5 days later. With temperatures in the 20"s that night, my family and I had to suffer in a very cold home throughout the night. I called to speak Ariaelle and was told, that she would get back with me later that day. Well that never happen. NO manager called or even cared that we had to endure sleeping in a house that was about 40 degrees. They came the next day to fill the tanks and the heat still did not work. I called again and asked for Ariaelle and never got a response. They sent a tech to my home and he said I had a gas leak. My furnace is 1 1/2 years old. highly unlikely I have a leak. The tech told me that there was nothing that he could do because it is late, so you have to go with out heat again until he can find the part. So I called a licensed HVAC company to see if they could turn the heat on. They did and Charged me 1600.00 to do an emergency call and confirmed there was no gas leak. The furnace went into to lockdown because of lack of gas. Paul Grabis other manager, Lies and said there was a leak also. STAY AWAY

      Since SMO changed their database system, I have had several problems with them as follows: 1. Phone lines are clogged and sometimes it takes 2-3 days for a call back. 2. Cannot order oil online unless you want them to fill the tank up and with these prices today, that's impossible for many residents. You can call and order on the phone for the amount you need. 3. Paid for oil on 1/9/23 and it wasn't delivered until 1/18/2023. Thank God that the temperature was not freezing. I'm use to a 2 day turn around. 4. Oil was delivered and I received a bill for the entire amount although I paid by cc on 1/9. Not only did they say I owed the amount, they put an envelope and invoice in the bag. I think this is deceptive business practices and thank God I remembered paying by cc or I might have paid them again. 5. Back in November of 2022, I requested an annual service call and they said the next appointment was 2/25/2023-3 months later!!! I am really fed up with this company and will be searching for an oil company that is "residential friendly".

      Not understanding or sympathetic of my financial difficulties during the pandemic. Could not get any helpful resolution to my issue at all. Locked my propane tank w/o notification, charged me $140.00 & I was told that it would take 7 days to unlock after bill was paid in full (178.00) because it was not an emergency. Would give zero stars if possible.

      SMO employees live and work in the same communities as its customers. We want to be good partners and empathetic to challenges that face customers. However, in this situation there was some sort of a disconnect. Over a period of more than 120 days SMO attempted multiple forms of contact phone calls and letters sent to the contact information on file. When we were unable to reach the customer that leases equipment from SMO the next step in our process is to lock the leased equipment. This action is taken so if they equipment is no longer in use it is locked for the safety reasons. If the equipment is still in use and the customer wishes to resolve the situation they will reach out to SMO. SMO was able to reach this customer today 2/18/2022 to resolve this unfortunate situation. We apologize for any misunderstanding and wish to work with all customers
