If I could rate this place 0 stars for boarding, I would. I boarded my two 8 month old puppies here over the holidays - a 5 night stay - and I firmly believe they were severely neglected, if not worse. When I picked them up, I immediately noticed things were VERY wrong. First, they both smelled strongly of urine and unclean conditions. One of the pups had a matted coat and some kind of dirt on his face and legs. They looked lethargic and completely out of it. When I got them home, they immediately drank 2 full bowls of water - they were obviously very dehydrated. After about 20 minutes home it was obvious that both puppies were sick - runny noses, discharge coming from their eyes and coughing. One of my pups went straight into his cage, turned his back and just shook for an hour. It was awful!!!! For this pup, the sickness turned severe enough to require a trip to the vet ER and a 2 night hospitalization, requiring oxygen, 24 hour monitoring and IV for hydration and medicine (a bill of about $3,500 and severe emotional distress for him and our family). He had completely stopped eating or drinking water. My other pup also regressed in terms of potty training. Though we hadn't had an accident inside in months, he urinated several times on the floor and blankets after coming home from DogiZone. After writing DogiZone to inform them, zero accountability was taken. They also charged me for a grooming session that never occurred and had kept my puppies in separate cabins the first night though I had explicitly booked them to stay together. What animals can't tell you, they show you with their behavior and their eyes. This was an awful experience - that was a direct result from staying at a facility that neglected to care for them properly. My bill for this horror? Nearly $1,000! I will never book my pups here again, and I hope that others think twice before entrusting their sweet pets to this place too.
