The merchant, Rockville store, in particular a store manager named **** suggested/tried to induce credit fraud and down payment fraud in order to extort money for a major purchase. We utilized the ***** ***** credit application provided by this merchant, where the credit is issued by way of a hardcopy **** card. The merchant is demanding 30% cash upfront With the balance going on the credit card. Upon communicating with ***** ********** about the disclosures and the legal language on this vendors website, there is no requirement nor any mention of a 30% deposit. We were verbally harassed by **** the store manager and intend to pursue this matter regardless of the cost and purely as a matter of principle. Please be aware when dealing with this merchant that their financial dealings are less than ethical, and rather than spending $40-$60,000 in their store, we will take all of our business elsewhere, and make sure we share our experience with others in the Potomac and Rockville area.
