I contracted Arocon Roofing to repair my roof June 2018. In November 2018 I began having leaking in the garage. I contacted Arocon to inform them of the problem. They sent a technician out, he did some additional sealing at that point I was told the roof was fine. Some time later the leak began again. Again a technician was sent out sealing was done no real issue was addressed. In Oct. 2022 it became much worst. I contacted Arocon at this visit the technician indicated the dormer and house was without house wrap. This was not covered under the roof warranty. I ultimately had the house wrap and siding done. A few weeks later the leak was back, no improvement! In this case while it may be true house wrap helps as an extra layer of protection it was not the root of the problem. I know this because the leak was in the exact place not a different spot. At the time the house was built it was not required for code. The leak didn't start until after the roof was installed in 2018. There was nothing wrong with my siding, because they couldn't guarantee the siding would be intact when they removed it to install the house wrap, I had to pay for siding. In Oct. 2022 Jack never got back to me with a report nor estimate. After I didn't hear back I had consultations with other companies. Both **** ******** ****** and ***** **** ********** stated my roof installer needs to perform the repair. **** ******** ****** stated in their report they would redo step flashing because "it wasn't done right". I informed Arocon of the report I received and they sent a new technician. The reality is steps were missed and I believe it's enough to warrant a refund and apology for the inconvenience. - Date of final payment 3/1/2023 - Amount paid 2790 I've contacted Arocon directly and they have stated it was a combination of house wrap and step flashing so they will not issue a refund. Unfortunately, it appears they bypassed honoring their warranty from the initial problem.
