We purchased a dog from a local breeder, returned the dog that same week and they are refusing to refund. The attorney I spoke to recommended we start with BBB to report as we now have not received any of our money back and do not have a dog from the breeder. Please see highlights below of what we have reported with no reasonable response."Hello *******, We are writing to let you know that we will need to bring back the ******************* 6 month old puppy we purchased on Saturday 9/9/23.We were hoping she would warm up as you said to give her 3-4 days and she was very cute but we have noticed over the past 4 days she has been extremely skittish and scared, peeing frequently, and ********- more so than any dog we have ever had over the years. Today we are now seeing her growling at our 5 year old daughter and trying to take her food away. She is only reactive towards our younger daughter bearing teeth, barking, and growling when shes around her. We are very concerned that there are signs of aggression so soon and are not comfortable with moving forward with her as an addition to the household. I am disappointed, as this saddens our family but our childrens safety and our puppy being in the right home is very important to us. We understand this is not ideal but we are sure you have had issues like this in the past and helped other families overcome them. Due to how this has impacted our family we would hope you would consider taking her back so she can find the right home and we would suggest one potentially without younger children, as she is still quite reactive. She has been so afraid of common noises shell jump over furniture to get away from a basket being dropped on the ground or picking up and putting down a cup as an example. "This was not including the additional health concerns we had with the dog not using its back legs and dragging them behind them. We paid $500 deposit- then $3192.50 cash upon pick up.Customer response
