I am writing to you in regards to my kitten, of whom I brought in for two examinations at "The Cat Hospital" facility on Monday, February 13 and Tuesday, February 14, 2023. *********************** at "The Cat Hospital" in ********** examined my kitten, on two occasions. I was requested to drop my cat curbside and also pick him up curbside. Upon retrieval of my kitten, I was never told of his diagnosis or proper aftercare management. He was seen for less than 30 minutes the first visit. On the second visit he sat in his pet carrier until he was able to be seen, which I was told there were a bunch of other procedures ahead of him AFTER I had dropped him off. After the first visit, I was given medication to put in his eyes 3 times a day. He was brought to me outside and I was sent home with a tube of eye ointment and no care instructions or paperwork documenting a formal diagnosis. His condition worsened, upon which I called The Cat House and returned with my kitten on February 14th. He was seen again by ************. After the second encounter I was given a prescription for eye medication for the kitten and sent home. Again, I was not informed about the kitten's condition. I felt like I was rushed in, told he needed this different eye ointment, and rushed out. Upon arriving home, I found that he had urinated in his pet carrier while at their facility and no one informed me of this, or even bothered to remove the soiled blanket. I was told that the first cream that ************ had prescribed would not be appropriate to treat the bacteria he had. The next day, his breathing was getting labored and he was not opening his eyes all. He also had stopped eating and was not drinking. I called The Cat Hos. and explained that my kitten's condition was not improving and that he was actually getting much worse. I had to bring him to the emergency vet. He had a temperature of ***** ,dehydration as well as gave him an antibiotic and fluids under his skin. I feel TCH was very neglectful.
