DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS GYM!! The owner, ****** discriminated against my 7 year old daughter who has epilepsy and broke her sweet little heart by kicking her off her team for absolutely no reason. Read below for the story. Enrolled my daughter in a cheer camp over the summer and she fell in love with the sport. So much so that she instantly wanted to join a team. We went all in and did the try outs, bought all the ****** priced uniforms, accessories and extra gear that they sold, booked hotels and basically signed our lives over to cheerleading. Little did we know it was going to be the biggest mistake we ever made. Half way through the season, after my daughter who is only seven, had became very close with her teammates and put her heart and soul into learning her routine, the owner, ****** made a rash decision to ban me, her mother from watching practices for questioning a harsh punishment the coaches decided to give to the team for making mistakes. My daughter is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She is also epileptic. With her epilepsy came accommodations which up until this point had been no issue. The owner knew that I had to be in the gym per her accommodations from her neurologist for her to participate. I challenged her decision and she immediately had her lawyer send me a letter dismissing my daughter who did absolutely nothing wrong from her team. She was devastated. Like crying at school, not wanting to talk to her friends kind of devastated. Shes only seven years old and now has already had to deal with discrimination. Do my little girl a favor and dont give this gym your business. An owner that doesnt accommodate the needs of special needs children doesnt deserve your patronage.

Cheer St. Louis communicates our standard of professionalism and safety to our customers. Customers are required to communicate professionally and respectfully and we do not tolerate abrasive nor derogatory treatment of our staff. Our attempted resolution for your situation was to keep your child in the program, but remove you, the specific parent, from the viewing room after numerous communications in regards to our standard of communication and violations of our policy. After many attempts at resolution, your family was ultimately dismissed from our program when our staff safety was jeopardized after you threw an object which hit a staff member.
