We used Cord to move into our brand new build on March 21st. Upon moving in the company put several holes in our walls, dents and dings in walls, ceilings, and doors, damaged weather stripping, and damaged tons of furniture. We are negotiating having a repair firm come out to fix the furniture, but only after they told us that we could fix it ourselves for $50, then "graciously" offered us a "goodwill" $500. They sent us links to Walmart for leather repair and magic erasers, but I'm not sure how that takes dents out of appliances or holes out of a vanity. Regardless, the other part of this, and the reason for this complaint, is that they sent a Cord box packer out to fix the damages to our new house. The repairs were clearly attempted by an amateur and the company is refusing to have any of the issues professionally corrected. There is still a deep dent in one ceiling, and the paint used was not blended in some areas, and the wrong finish in others (matte vs satin). One piece of weather stripping was simply glued together instead of fixed. This is a brand new house and there are so many issues after they left. Too many to cover here, but additionally there are a few scuffs on the walls, the mudding was done haphazardly and the texture no longer matches, a railing was bent and scuffed, old, dried paint was used, and blending was not done, so touch ups are obvious. They keep saying the builder is at fault.
