      This company has the worse customer service that we have ever dealt with. We purchased a brand new tractor and a used ****** from them, on the same day, back in December of 2022. This was the first time we'd ever bought machinery from them, but we were not new customers. We asked **** to have their mechanics look over the Bobcat before we bought it because we were told they had not yet as they had just taken it in on a trade in. My husband pointed out a couple of obvious problems (broken tooth on the bucket and a broken wheel stud) and asked them to fix them and change the fluids, they did, and we paid extra for all of that. Not one of the staff there had said anything or pointed out these broken parts that my husband saw. So after their mechanics supposedly looked over the machine, we bought it and brought it home. After only 19 HOURS of use, there's almost $5,000 worth of parts and labor that need to be done: all 4 wheel bearings are out, the chains are bad and all 4 axel seals are GONE. Our Bobcat is at a Bobcat repair shop which gave us the news. My husband called **** ****, who sold us all this equipment, and he was not willing to help in any manner what so ever, except offered to sell us a brand new skid steer so that we could have a 2 year warranty and trade in our hunk of junk of a Bobcat where they would give us nothing for it. They wouldn't even entertain the idea of their mechanics working on it and offer a bit of a reduced price in labor. We were willing to pay for all the parts and even most of the labor, but they did not want to hear about our problems with it. Other mechanics have said there's no way ****** mechanics missed these issues, they either really didn't look it over or they chose not to tell us about them. We realize that they are not obligated to help, but when you spend 65k in one day at their dealership, one would think they **** would be a little more willing to help a customer and maintain good customer service. They aren't.

      This machine was sold used (and as-is) back in December of 2022. It was a 15+ year old machine at that time and it was clearly stated that the sale carried no warranty. We were not contacted until last week (8/19/24) about any issues with the Bobcat - 20 months after the sale. By the time that we were contacted, the machine was already at a Bobcat repair shop (not ours). Respectfully **************, there are two sides to this story. I have been working at Lauf Equipment for over ************************************************* 1942. My sister, brother, and I purchased it from my father. Respecting this business's reputation has always been the most important aspect of my job. We stand behind what we sell and I am proud of that.When my son **** spoke with **************, I could overhear the conversation. After hearing too much abusive language and even more "F" words, I suggested that my son wish ************** a good day and hang up.
