I wouldnt hire this guy. He clearly has a bad attitude. I called and asked him what he would charge to put down a weed barrier, mulch and decorative lawn edging brick around a couple of 6 inch trees in the back yard and a 4 inch diameter tree in the front yard. He asked if he could come by the house in an hour. I told him he could, but he would not be able to get in the back yard, as the gate was locked, but that the fence is short enough on the west side and told him to look into the back yard and see the trees. He said okay. I was busy on the phone dealing with an insurance company that was giving me fits when he arrived. He rang the doorbell and asked if he could go in the back yard. Im disabled and we have some dogs that were in the back yard. My wife had locked the back fence and I didnt have the key. I was on the phone and told him he could not go in the back yard, but he could look over the fence and see the trees. I told him just to call me later and give me an estimate, because I was busy at the moment and couldnt speak with him. He turned around and waived me off, walking away and said, Im not calling you, in an angry voice. Now keep in mind, this guy has been in our back yard and had spoken with my wife about a job a few months back when he tried to drum up our business. Today he had stopped by and left his card. He stopped by one other day and tried to drum up my business when I was outside. He keeps trying to get our business, but clearly doesnt want it. Hes an older guy and not friendly. I would never do business with him, NOT EVER! Other landscaping companies have given me quotes right over the phone with the information Ive given them. BUYER BEWARE.
