Don't waste your time with KH Properties or Metro Apartments. These *luxury* apartments are literally overpriced ***** motels. They run "specials" in order to get new tenants in while actively overcharging current tenants. The neighbors are RIDICULOUS. I can't even count how many times police have been here. People allow their children to scream at the top of their lungs, bang on ************** and run all over the building at all hours of the night and day. Apartments getting broken into and robbed. People threatening to shoot each other. In the middle of Wood River. These are the kinds of tenants Metro allows in because they obviously lie about background checks. They "fixed" the parking lot, only to add a concrete pad at the end that then created even bigger holes in the parking lot, how ignorant. And they were even so nice as to move our dumpsters to complete opposite ends of the complex right before we got a foot of snow. What I love most about my apartment is that there's no exhaust fan above the stove, there's multiple large cracks in the ceiling, my refrigerator shelves are held together with duct tape, the floors are so uneven none of my furniture sits right, there's a 1/4" gap between the baseboards and flooring so you can feel all the cold air blowing in, and it looks like it's right out of the 60s! (you know, even though they're "renovated") I should have turned around and walked out when I was lied to about moving into a renovated apartment and walked into this absolute disgusting mess, don't make the same mistake. You can literally rent an entire 2 bedroom house in this area for what these scumbags are charging for a one bedroom apartment with roaches.
