First, I got an estimate from them to replace my double window with a picture frame window. I signed a contract with them for $2700. (Not exact number, but close enough). They stated that the reason was that since it was on a second story, It will be very hard. They would need to set up a scaffold and work 2 days on it.They actually asked for my credit card upfront to do the job?? But I agreed since we were in a time crunch.They did the job, but it only took them about 3.5 hrs and no scaffolding! So, I was expecting a deduction on the job, but instead they charged my card $3200??I called and they said they had done so because they had sent in extra help, not so. Just the scaffold would have been a lot more to set up and all. So they were actually saving money. So I disputed the charge with my credit card and they finally agreed to go down to the original price! Anyway, a few days later someone pointed out, this was not a tempered glass, as they had promised on the contract!! So now they had to order the new tempered glass, and we had to wait a few more weeks!We obviously went back to the credit card company and had an extra amount disputed. After they had replaced it, not to our complete satisfaction either. They wanted the whole amount back. I said forget it, after all the hassle we have been through. They finally agreed.But please do not do business with these people. Horrible business practices and very low standards. The other thing is that ****, (the owner?) when he responds to your emails, he does so with abbreviated words and as few words as possible!
