Mailed my ipad to BuyMyPod, LLC Dec 12, 2022. Received a revised price they would pay for my ipad. On Dec. 28, 2022, accepted their revised quote. Received a text on Jan. 06, 2023 that the payment person would look into the payment. Since then, I have sent 22 text messages and 5 emails to the number and email address on their website. As of this date, have not had any response to these inquiries. There is no other contact information, so am not sure what to do.Initial Complaint

Reporting scam/fraud for this business, ************************************* seems like multiple people have filed complaint on BBB regarding this business before.I sold my iPhone back in October 2022, and I have sent several follow up to the business regarding payment.They have never responded and after 4 months I still do not have payment. This is a fraudulent business. I have *** tracking number, 1Z47918Y0603667133 , showing that my item has been delivered. The company has since stopped responding to my email. This business scammed hundreds if not thousands of people already . My desired resolution is for this webiste/business to close as there is risk for data breach and blackmailing with customers' sensitive data as well as fraudulent claim and not paying customers like they should. Their fake reviews and avertisement also need to be investigated - on their website they claim they have excellent review on trustpilot. however in real life they have an average rating of 3.1 on trust pilot. this kind of advertising on their website is misleading.Initial Complaint

My phone was delivered to them on 9/22/22 after I received a quote of $20 from them for my phone. I emailed them several times regarding payment. Finally on 11/21/22 they responded with a lower offer which I declined since they were lying about the condition of the phone. They said they would return the phone at no cost. I have emailed them several times since then and still have not received my phone (it's 2/9/23). I want them to honor their original offer plus damages since they have lost my phone.Initial Complaint

Started the process on 11/13/22. They agreed to pay me $107 for my iphone 7 plus. After a few weeks of trying to get a response, I finally received a response on 12/2/22. They offered me $40 for the device. I declined that offer. They told me they would mail back the device free of charge. After 30 days of tracking the order & trying to get a response, they sent me a text message with a tracking number from the u.s. postal service. I've tried tracking that number, but the item was not shipped. 1 month later there is no resolution. Even more interesting, I went on my cell phone account & the phone I was selling had been activated. They must have sold it. The buyer tried several times to change my cell phone account access information. I deleted the device from my account. I've tried several to contact the company with no response. From my perspective, they stole my device. This is a bad company with a poor reputation. This has been a frustrating experience.Initial Complaint

I received a quote of $208 from Buy My Pod for my Apple iPhone 11. I sent it to Buy My Pod and it arrived to them on December 16. I never received payment and I have contacted them multiple times through text and the online form. I was assured by someone that he would look into it, but I havent heard back and still havent received payment. They have quite literally stolen my iPhone, and I want the $208 they promised me or they need to return the phone to me.Initial Complaint

IN JUNE,2022 I SUBMITTED MY Apple iPhone 7+ 128GB Red FOR THEIR PURCHASE. THEY KNOCKED THE ***** DOWN FOR SUPPOSED SCRATCHES. I ACCEPTED THE REDUCED *****. I sent my 2 used iphones to this buyer after quoting me $73 for each phone. After several follow **** he finally paid me for one phone, but no response on the other phone and I have asked them to send it back as they want to give me less than what they quoted me. I sent two devices to them in late November. I received one email saying one item has low speaker quality and they lowered the price. I agreed on the price but recieved no response and no payment. I write two emails later still no response. I texted them before the holidays and they said I will make sure these are both updated today. But I didnt get any update since. I completed a form on BuyMyPod.com to receive a quote for a used iPhone I hoped to trade-in for money. I received a quote on 10/11/2022 and subsequently sent my device. I received an email from ************************************* ************************************* General Manager, on 10/27/2022, with a lower offer ($235) than originally quoted. That same day I replied to ******* accepting the revised price. On 12/3/2022, I replied to ******* again requesting status with no response. On 12/13/2022, I sent a message via the Contact Us numbers from the website ************** saying it had been two months since I sent my device without receiving payment. Someone replied by the name of ******* asking if I had received an email update back in October. I replied to the affirmative with the details of my response. I received no reply but the order tracker function on the website changed from In Process, to Complete. It has been another five weeks and I still have not received payment for my device I sent in October. I simply want to be paid for the amount agreed or have my device returned.
