Hoover sent me replacement vacuum under warranty. What they sent also came with a delivery charge **** from ****** I paid it and asked for reimbursement. They are running around in circles and nothing is getting done. Small amount (***** cdn) but its the principal that they said they would take care of it, that is at hand.Email transcript attachedBusiness response

I am rejecting this response because: Please see the email. This seems to be a repeated tactic by this company as I have asked for reimbursement since September, it is now nearing the end of November and all they have been saying is the same, we have sent it to the "xxxxx" department. They need to show more action and less talk to be *****, and actually get it done. Unless they issue it immediately with proof instead of just having this go back and forth, my complaint still stands and I am ready to take it further.

I have a part that broke on a vacuum that makes it very difficult to maneuver. It has a one year warranty. I purchased through Amazon.com on 3/3/2021. I paid $199.99 not including tax.. Hoover customer support said that they would replace the vacuum. They said that they would replace with a different one since the original model is not in stock. They want me to disable the vacuum and send proof. The entire process could take at least 2 weeks. I have 4 fur babies and 2 weeks without a vacuum is not acceptable. With the broken one, with lots of muscle, I can manage to get sections vacuumed over time. It is better then nothing. I assumed that they would send me a replacement and the broken one would go back in the same box with a return label enclosed.Business response

The purpose of the process of sending a picture of the cut cord is to protect the consumer and company. We do not want customers using faulty products. Once customer sends the pic of cut chord, the replacement order will be placed. Thanks.

I received a gift from my husband for Hanukkah 2019. it was a Dirt Devil Product: UD70188 Date Code: J19A DB On November 5th, I was pressing the handle release of the vacuum and the wheel assembly along with the handle release broke off the machine, causing the machine to be highly ineffective to clean the carpet. I called Dirt Devil to tell them and since this was a gift and I don't have the receipt, they won't replace the vacuum even though this model is supposedly less than two years old and there's a two year warranty on the machine.Business response

I have receipts from Hoover Headquarters that I paid in full for a deep cleaner on October 14, 2021 and no vacuum cleaner as of this date. Wrote them a letter to the headquarters two weeks ago and no answer. The price is $181.00. I want my refund. The receipt says paid and still nothing. They took my money and won't send me the product.Business response

My husband bought two vacuums and they were the upright vacuums and they don't really clean the carpeting that good and the vacuums are black and red he paid $100.00 dollars for both vacuums and the vacuums made a hole in the carpeting and we live in an apartment. We think you guys should replace the vacuums because the vacuums we get don't really clean the floors too good. We want our money back or a replacement vacuums. We are recovering from covid . The vacuums should be made better. We like to know if you guys can ship another one that is updated and the bagless and upright vacuums. Resolution, we want our money back or a replacement vacuums. I ordered an Oreck floor cleaner at the start of October. It was the second level model, agent told me it would be at my home ***** business days, it NEVER arrived. I called them and was told that model is on back order until MARCH 2022, so she LIED.. They changed out the model and I received it BUT i received NO PARTS(second part of order) I called AGAIN and she said they would resend that part of the order BUT they DIDN'T so then they said they would refund the amount of the second order. Today they DOUBLE CHARGED ME FOR THE FIRST ORDER $403 and NO refund of the $143(second order) I tried calling them again and all you get is useless indifference and they put me through to the credit department BUT that department is NOT ANSWERING. I wish I had NEVER bought the Oreck clearly they are a useless company!!!!!!!!!!!!!Business response

Credit department is showing a total charged to this customer of $. ******. The credit refund was issued on 11/2/2021 for the parts she said was not received. No other checks were sent to the customer from accounting. She will only receive the ****** credit for parts not received. which is in process The ****** is the price of the Orbiter which customer still has. customer has acknowledged she received the unit. There was no sign of a second charge of 403. She may have seen an authorization in that amount but was only charged one time.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I do suggest they stop lying to customers about delivery times and refunds.
