I was dissatisfied with my product nor the customer service of this organization. I hired them to videotape a stage play for me that was performed at a very prestigious theater. ************** assured me prior to videotaping that he was familiar with videotaping a stage play. However, when I received the video footage after the production, the patron heads were in the frames, preventing me from viewing the actors entire bodies . When I asked ************** for a solution, he stated that if he cut out the patrons' head, it would could cut off my actors' feet. After consulting another videographer, he stated that ************** should have utilized a riser that would have raised the camera above the audience. As a professional multimedia company, I expect him to know that. Also, I found ****************** behavior to be unprofessional. After the event, I met with he and his production partner at her house. Because I expressed my displeasure, ************** walked out of the meeting and failed to deal with me any further. On a latter meeting with the production partner, when I asked for some adjustments to be made, she stated that ************** had already given me all the service allotted and refuse to make any corrections. Now I have a substandard video with patrons' heads in it which I paid nearly $3,000 for videotaping and editing. Much more than I was quoted or expected. The length of time it took to deliver the product was unacceptable as well. The event date was March 12, 2022 and I didn't receive footage until June 2022. Capturing memories is so important especially when in the theater business...to have a substandard video that can't be used for promotion nor can it be marketed to the patrons is truly disappointing and disheartening. And, it was my only source of videotaping. The price it costed me was not worth the anguish I experienced. I definitely would not refer Final Cut Multimedia to anyone and I am very sorry I hired them.

Were deeply sorry her experience didnt go well. Here at Final Cut Multimedia, we go up and beyond our way to make our customers experience spectacular. When we first spoke about her production, she immediately asked for a discount, as well as on other occasions. We kind of knew this wouldnt go well, yet we continued to tell her that our prices were our prices, we just can't adjust them. We knew she was unhappy about that. The small theater that she rented had a very low stage and she had people sitting in chairs very close to the stage. She mentioned before production that she would keep the first 2 rows empty. We also remembered her also telling us that she needed to fill every seat to recover the money she spent on that production. She made it a habit letting us know how much money she spent on that production. We encouraged her to find another ************* that was in her price range several times, but she insisted on using us because she said were the most trusted video production company on **************. Putting the cameras on risers would not work in that location, we had cameras on tripods mounted on stairs as high off the ground as possible, we couldn't prevent the head problem. The problem was the low stage, and the seating directly next to the stage. Our team here at Final Cut Multimedia has different roles. ****** did initially handle her project in the beginning, yes, he did handle the filming and was over the editing. When a project is complete, it moves to another department. It's out of ******** hands at this point. We understand that she loved working with ******, he appreciates that. But we have a process here at Final Cut Multimedia. Now I must address the dates, and the money. Filming and editing were two different services, paid at two different times, separately. She paid for filming - 3 camera production - We showed up, connected our cameras up to the sound board to get the best audio possible, we filmed the entire event and left. It was a success. That part of the job was complete, and she were able to come get her unedited footage. When she finally came and saw her footage, she was satisfied with it. She insisted that we edit it, we were reluctant about editing it because she kept trying to talk us down on our prices, after going back and forth for an hour, we agreed to give her a ***** discount to do the editing. The terms were that she would only getting very minimal editing. She paid for the editing on April 27, 2022, and her video ready on May 18, 2022. With very minimal editing. I still have all emails for references. Again, we wish everything had worked out better but at this point theres nothing for us to do.
