They advertise themselves as a school for children with special needs but, in my opinion, nobody at the Concord location, except maybe one person, has any experience with special needs. I feel like they just use this to promote the business even though no one has actual experience and qualifications for this particular field. My daughter had a communication device, and when I tried to take it, they all seemed hesitant to use it because they "didn't want it to get messed up." And one person even said "well, if it'll keep her distracted, that's fine." I had to tell them that it's not a toy, and it's not there to distract her. It is her voice. A school that is qualified to teach children with special needs would know what this was! They opened the Concord location before they should have because there were no toys on the playground and the "rooms" were a blocked off section of the main lobby of the church and this narrow room behind the makeshift room they had made in the lobby. The owner would respond to emails I sent one time and tell me to call if I had questions. I struggle to have phone conversations with my daughter at home and email is the best form of communication for me, and I told her this. When I decided to pull my daughter out of the school I emailed the owner and told her so and said that I would keep them in mind for the summer or maybe the next year, but the owner never replied to me at all. I emailed again to question some of the charges that they made because they drafted a large payment out of the wrong account and STILL did not hear a peep from the owner. This is completely unprofessional and I believe it is false advertising to say it is a special education school when they clearly don't understand special needs. I saw no evidence of them being educated and knowledgeable in this area. I want all my money back because the service provided was not what is advertised.
