If I could rate this business a zero star, I definitely would. Robert L****, one of the contractors, worked with my parents in repairing their home. My parents don’t speak much English so we believe this is why things happened the way they did. Robert was very unprofessional. First red flag, he never gave us a legitimate estimate. Second red flag, he told us that he’d be in charge of speaking to our insurance and dealing with them for all damages of the home (huge mistake). When after doing so, his estimate was based on how much insurance money my family was receiving. We could’ve said any amount and he would just say that was the money we owed him. Throughout the process of fixing the home, he would stall on completing the siding of the home even though it was part of the check. When everything was “done”, the total for damages, supposedly, was $20,000…. He demanded all the insurance money my family received from their own insurance. When we questioned the cost, he had no real good explanation for anything. He threatened to place a lien on our home if we didn’t give him all of what my mother received from her insurance and we were forced to give him every penny. He took advantage of the situation, knowing that my parents didn’t speak English. He told us that if we don’t “hand over” his money that he would take us to court for insurance fraud, even though he was the one taking all control of speaking to the insurance company. We are 100% sure we were scammed and not to mention the repairs were no where near $20,000. There was much more that happened but this is just a few of what we experienced with Armor Roofing. Please be careful with these people.
