July 28, 2021 purchased a car from CBS Quality Cars; a recent cancer survivor w multiple physical & development disabilities been on disability 20+ yrs no established credit inquired abt a PURPLE CHARGER ************ General Sales/Finance Manager said I could not get financing she could get finance on another car didn't give me choice of cars 2015 KIA SOUL or nothing. Nothing in walking distance of home poor public transport + wanted to get off disability buy a house. AFTER agreeing to car told I would have to waive financing to get car. Assured car thoroughly checked. Car not checked mice urine/ feces in hatchback area causing awful smell less than 1 week after buying. 8/2-8/22 drove for **** was becoming financially independent. Became ill then surgery car barely driven 8/22-9/22 9/22 cleared to return to work 10/5. 9/22 car driven less than 10 m was fine. 9/23 tried to go to appt car making bad noise took car to NTB auto told car needed oil change still making noise couldn't afford diagnostic. ********** said I had FREE DIAGNOSTIC told car engine need replacing cost almost $9,000 buyout from car loan just a little more than that CAR IS NOT DRIVEABLE. 11/3 spoke to ********** owner of CBS he was REFUSING REPAIR would do inquiry HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK beginning 11/8 I left several messages that he didn't return then ********** sent email saying he didn't have # I had given him # when we spoke + every time I left voicemail left # gave it again to ********** no one ever called. Have 5 yrs of payments cannot pay for nonworking vehicle I will either decalage bankruptcy or default on the loan it will ruin my credit. Moved in w sister while undergoing cancer treatment now cancer free cannot move bc of this car if I declare bankruptcy or default on loan will never be able to buy or rent. Without a car I cannot work. Back to only having disability income need car to work
