This is an inaccurate review. We did complete a bathroom remodel for this customer in 2018. The customer was very happy with the work and asked if we could do another project for them on their home. The new project was an addition to the home which we met numerous times to discuss. After bring in another general contractor at the time and presenting the estimate the customer was not prepared to spend the money for this project and the discussions were put on hold.
In January of 2022 I received a call that they had a concern about water getting behind the window molding in the shower. They asked if I warrantied my work and I told them yes but this project was completed 2 plus years ago and I would gladly come out to see what we could do. They had hired another contractor to do the addition that was previously mentioned and had them look at the shower. The contractor poorly caulked around the window and called it good.
When I looked at the job, I was asked to do quite a few things differently along with inspecting for leaks. I am not a big fan of going behind another contractor once they have altered or tried to repair a previous project that we worked on. I believe the contractor that looked at the bathroom was looking for more work at the time and said what was needed to cause alarm. The way the shower walls were installed with a painted bladder there is no way for water to get behind the walls as I told the customer.
We stand by our work and I only wish we would have been the first call when they thought they had an issue. Long story short, communication broke down and no resolution was found to make the customer happy.
I would like to add that we have never had a negative review on BBB or for that matter anywhere else. Our company works by word of mouth only and if our customers are not happy we can't survive. That being said, we always want our customers happy and will go above and beyond to make this happen. Unfortunately, this is not the case with this customer.
